The steamboat Vyšehrad is not only the oldest and largest steamboat on the Vltava, but also the last of two historic paddle steamers in our country. It was built as a passenger transport vessel during the inter-war period, when steamboat travel was thriving.
Vyšehrad is mainly used as a restaurant steamboat. You can also rent the steamboat and host a company event, conference, wedding or private celebration on board.
Boat facts
first launched in 1938 at the Ústí shipyard, making it the oldest paddle steamer in our country
it has undergone 4 renovations and especially the most recent, complete one in 2018 restored its original character
the steam engine room can be visited
in 2013 it was declared a cultural monument and is therefore protected
the main lounge is air-conditioned, the boat also has a lower lounge and an open sun deck
on board you will find a restaurant, café, wine bar and bar
grilling is possible on the large open deck
the steam engine output is 165 kW (220 hp)
