The steamboat Vltava on a postage stamp

The steamboat Vltava, which together with the steamboat Vyšehrad was in 2013 added to the list of cultural monuments of the Czech Republic, has today received another honour. She has appeared on Czech Post stamps. The artist behind the stamp is Milan Bauer.

As part of today's ceremonial christening, which took place aboard the boat Bohemia Rhapsody, the new book The History of Timber Rafting in Bohemia by Jiří Svoboda was also presented.
