Floral cruise for Václav Havel

The symbolic life journey of the recently deceased President Václav Havel will be brought to a close by a boat cruise carrying the floral tributes that people brought to his coffin over the past week.

The boat will set sail on Saturday morning at 10:00 from Rašínovo nábřeží. It will then pass through Prague, Mělník, Roudnice nad Labem, Litoměřice, Lovosice, Ústí nad Labem and conclude its journey two days later in Děčín.

The boat Lužnice will be accompanied by several other boats as far as Prague's Štvanice; from there, Lužnice will continue alone on a quiet voyage along the Vltava and the Labe to honour one of the most important figures in Czechoslovak and Czech history.
