Christening of the solar boat Elektronemo

Pražská paroplavební společnost a.s. has been providing services from its approved moorings at Kampa since the days of Austria-Hungary. As early as 1912, our company launched regular scheduled service from these moorings to Mělník.

The event will take place on Wednesday 23 June 2010 at 3 pm at the Kampa moorings (30 m from Charles Bridge).

The godmothers of the new eco-friendly boats will be the President of the Day of Integration project Šárka Kuželová, the writer Bára Nesvadbová and Czech Miss 2010 Jitka Válková.

The ceremonial christening will be hosted by presenter Jakub Železný.

You can look forward to a presentation of the fashion collection of the Richter salon, and Czech Miss 2010 Jitka Válková will delight you with her singing. From 9 am, free sightseeing trips on the Vltava aboard a steamboat will be available for children and clients of the Day of Integration project (the non-profit organisations Peppermint, Info-dráček, the Cheerful Senior foundation and the Society for Early Care).
