145th anniversary of the Steamboat Company

Over 145 years of operation, the Pražská paroplavební společnost (Prague Steamboat Company) has carried thousands of happy excursionists, so this year's anniversary is certainly a reason to celebrate. The celebrations, however, will mainly take a working form — the company has prepared a number of new features for its clients.

You can now ride to Prague ZOO from two boarding points — Rašínovo nábřeží and the Hospital Na Františku. The solar-powered boat Elektronemo will also begin sailing along the Vltava, promising an entirely calm, quiet and, above all, eco-friendly cruise.

You can celebrate this significant anniversary in style aboard the steamboat Vltava, which is celebrating a beautiful 70 years of operation this season. Restorers have returned her to her original condition based on period plans and photographs. Take in her historic atmosphere and discover the beauty of Prague from her deck.
