The boat departs from the Rašín Embankment and first heads downstream on the Vltava River to the lock chamber at the Šítkovská Water Tower at Žofín Island.
Then it turns left around Střelecký Island, from where you will see the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle, then returns through the lock chamber before going upstream towards legendary Vyšehrad where it turns around and heads back to the Rašín Embankment.
A family ticket can not be purchased online, please buy it in the office at Platform No. 2 on the Rašín Embankment - between Jirásek and Palacký Bridge.
Enjoy a weekend trip to the zoo, but only through the end of September. Take advantage of this final chance to take a cruise from Rašín Embankment to Císařský Island and then a free ferry to Troja.
On Tuesday, 10 September, the historical Vltava steamboat hosted the representatives of the Prague Riversides, the Office of Public Spaces, and the architect of the riverbank revitalisation, and—together with guests—discussed the future of Prague’s riverbanks.
On Saturday, September 7, we will sail for one-hour cruises along the changed route. The reason is the Prague City Swim event in the vicinity of Střelecký Island.
