River Cruise from Kampa Island

Come and enjoy the wonderful boat trip on the Vltava river that starts at Kampa Island. You will be able to see the historical city of Prague from a differen perspective on the most charming boat on the river – the Vltava steamboat.

From the ecological landing-place at Kampa sail also the hybrid boats Šárka and Libuše and also the unique solar boat Elektronemo. On all of these boats you can enjoy a quiet cruise and be considerate to the environment at the same time.

Route

The one-hour cruise on the Vltava steamboat starts at Kampa Island by Charles Bridge and takes you through the historical part of Prague and back.

Hybrid boats Šárka and Libuše

Šárka and Libuše are handmade boats from mahagony tree. Thez touched the water of the Vltava River for the first time in 2009. They are used for sightseeing river cruises and it is also possible to rent them.

They are 2.15 m wide and 6.36 m long and they can carry up to 12 people. The boats have unique electric engines thanks to which the cruise is both quiet and ecological.

Solar boat Elektronemo

The solar boat Elektronemo has been on the Vltava river only since 2010. The boat is run by an engine that uses solar energy from the panels on the roof. It is the first boat of this kind in the Czech Republic.

The Elektronemo is 10 m long and 3m wide, it can carry up to 12 people. The operation of the boat is very quiet and ecological. It is used for sightseeing cruises around the city centre.
